By road from Auckland
Recommended route: Follow Google maps directions onto SH22 and continue on until you reach Glen Murray, then turn right onto Waikaretu road, through Waikaretu and past Nikau Caves.
The Lodge will be on your right and the unsealed portion of the road is approx 3 km.

For a stunning scenic drive which includes passing through Port Waikato and past the Lord of the Rings film location Weathertop Hollow, turn right off SH22 at Pukekawa. Please avoid Baker Road due to current road conditions.
NOTE: the last 12 km of road to the Lodge is winding and unsealed and subject to closure following weather events

By road from Hamilton
Head north on SH1 until you reach Rangiriri. Turn left onto Glen Murray Road and skirt Lake Whangape. Follow signs for Glen Murray then turn right onto Waikaretu road, through Waikaretu and past Nikau Caves.
The Lodge will be on your right and the unsealed portion of the road is approx 3 km.
Allow 1hr 30 mins.
Arrive by helicopter
To maximise your relaxing time, a 15-minute helicopter commute might be the perfect solution. We can also provide a transfer to and from the airport.
