The mighty Waikato has earned New Zealand its first spot in Expedia Group’s global travel trends.

We’re excited to share that the Spring 2025 issue of Let’s Travel Magazine has just been published — and it features an incredible 14-page showcase on the Waikato region, including many of our local experiences, attractions, and places to stay.

Even better, the Waikato made it onto the front cover of the magazine, giving the region outstanding national and international exposure across print and digital channels.

The feature celebrates the Waikato as “a region to explore” and includes beautiful photography and editorial coverage for operators from across the region — from gardens, galleries and museums to adventure, wellness, accommodation, and food experiences.
